What is LIT?

The Leaders in Training (LIT) program is designed for high school students ages 15-17 who want to develop leadership skills while serving at Bear Lake Camp.

LITs assist with daily camp operations, participate in leadership training sessions, and gain hands-on experience in ministry and mentorship. This is a volunteer program that provides housing and meals.

Through devotions, service opportunities, and working alongside experienced counselors, LITs develop practical skills and spiritual maturity that will serve them for life.

Summer camp activities and leadership training

Two weeks of intensive leadership training and camp ministry.

JULY 5-18

July 5-18, 2026

Summer's peak session with maximum camper interaction.

Session 3

JULY 19-AUG 1

July 19 - August 1, 2026

End-of-summer session with leadership capstone projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

You must have completed at least your first year of high school (ages 15-17 typically).
We ask that LIT applicants serve at least two weeks over the summer.
No, LIT is a volunteer opportunity. Housing and meals are provided.
